Harry and company are going back for another adventure-filled year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In order to steal away the somber mood that seems to have overtaken the school, Headmistress McGonagall has enstated a new, school-wide competition to find the champions of Hogwarts!
From each house, five key players are chosen to represent their colors and play for the victory. The twenty players selected all-together must then compete in challenges requiring all sorts of incredible teamwork and dedication to survive the odds. If you thought the Hungarian Horntail was bad, wait until you see our contestants face off against and escape a swarm of Acromantulas!
The rumors about the competition are swirling about the school's commodious corridors, echoing through every nook and cranny. You can imagine the sting of anticipation when the Headmistress decides to reveal who the contestants will be at the end of the first week of classes!
At the dinner, McGonagall eyes her school with a twinkle of sorrow in her orbs. She allows the sorting hat to be the selector of the competitors, knowing its wisdom surpassed hers by millions of years. Slowly it began to call out the names.
"Harry Potter!" The Boy-Who-Lived was antsy about this whole affair. He knew he was going to be chosen, and had accepted the applause gratefully, but his whole purpose for returning was to learn stronger magic. McGonagall wanted him to partake in the competition, however, because the school needed someone to look up to throughout the whole experience. Harry, being himself, agreed to compete.
"Ronald Weasley!" It was true, the red-head had indeed proven himself on countless occasions. He saw this as an opportunity to show people just how strong he could be. Plus, to be competing in a team with his best friend made him all the more confident.
"Hermione Granger!" The brunette's eyes widened with surprise. Surely they couldn't be serious! She had all the studying in the world to do, and now this? Nonetheless, she realized her best friends would make her help whether or not she was actually in the competition, so she simply sighed with defeat.
